TERMINAL ENCOUNTER

 

A policeman's lot is not always a happy one. Inspector Grimpole has finally taken the plunge!

 

A whirlwind romance - maybe - but he has never been more sure of marriage, despite misgivings from his nearest and dearest.

 

A wedding and honeymoon cruise seems like the perfect getaway - until a decidedly fishy death at

sea forces the groom to take charge.

 

Can he solve the murder before taking his vows?

30th July 2024 - A One Off Return of `Terminal Encounter' - The Cannon Pub, Brompton. Tickets £15 each includes

                            chip supper email wendytcherry@hotmail.com or reserve over the bar. 

21st Sept 2024 - Return of `Battle of the Sexes' - Cleave Warne Hall, (behind St Matthews Church) Borstal.

                           Two teams compete to win this year's coveted trophy. A friendly evening of entertainment up

                            to 1hr each competing to win your most important vote at the end of the evening. Who will have

                            entertained you most? Will it be the blues or will the pinks retain the title?

                   Our Brand NEW Autumn Murder Mystery from September will be:- DEAD MAN's HAND!

 

                   It's the 1870's The Goldrush maybe over, but Lucky Valley, Nevada, attracts some

                   interesting characters to the sleepy town. Some come to retire, and some for a place to hide out.

                   The Silver Spur Saloon is the bright light in town, where the saloon madam Babs keeps the beers

                   flowing and a regular poker game. Marshall James P Shaw is just passing through on the hunt for

                   an infamous outlaw and joins the local Sheriff Eustace R Grimpole for a round of five card draw until

                   the curse of Dead Man’s hand strikes again…
